Large-format ink
PFI-300 — ink set (14.4 ml) is a genuine Canon ink set, and fits imagePROGRAF PRO-300 A3+.
imagePROGRAF devices run separate tanks per colour, and the same machine accepts more than one tank size. Choosing between sizes is a cost decision, not a compatibility one.
One machine, more than one size
The TM series takes PFI-120 (130 ml) or PFI-320 (300 ml); the TX series takes PFI-310 or PFI-710 (700 ml). Same ink, same machine — the larger tank costs less per millilitre, the smaller suits intermittent use because the ink does not sit open for long.
Tanks are sold individually
You do not replace the whole set — only the colour that ran out. Matte black (MBK) empties fastest in engineering drawings because it draws the lines, so keep a spare on hand.
Genuine vs compatible and refilled
The difference is not only price. A genuine item is guaranteed not to leak inside the machine, and a leak reaches the print head or the fuser — which costs many times the price gap. On top of that, a fault caused by a counterfeit consumable voids the warranty; that is written in the device's own warranty certificate, not a condition we add.
Operating notes
